Wrapped Garden House
A 4 story town house for a family of 6.
This house, set in the heart of Tel Aviv, echoes the scale and character of houses built in the 50's and the greenery surrounding them. As today's houses require more space for infrastructure and for lifestyle expectations, the building is taller but we have introduced a mechanism to reduce the presence of walls on the street via an internal open space, a wrapped garden entrance.
The wrapped garden serves both the street and the interior spaces for optimum daylight. It also connects the inside with the garden in the back with trees, seemingly through the house.
