The Studio

Jacobs -Yaniv Architects is an award-winning Israeli architecture and interior design studio with considerable project running experience and a portfolio which includes high-end houses and interiors, hospitality and leisure, residential buildings, commercial and public projects.

Jacobs - Yaniv Architects was founded in 2004. Practice founders Tamar Jacobs and Oshri Yaniv returned to Israel after having spent a decade living and working in London. They graduated from the Architectural Association school of Architecture and worked for world leading practices; Zaha Hadid Architects, David Chipperfield Architects and Wilkinson Eyre Architects.

The practice also specializes in service for overseas clients wishing to build a home in Israel. In the last 20 years the studio has completed houses for clients from the U.K, U.S.A, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Russia, and France.

Each project is meticulously thought through, with great care and attention to details and the client’s requirements.

Both founding partners are personally involved in every project to ensure continuity from the initial sketches and ideas, through planning permission to the construction phase on site. Jacobs - Yaniv Architects always aim for aesthetic functional space based on clear design ideas. 

There is a constant search for exciting, interesting, and intriguing architecture and design.

    Tamar Jacobs AA DIP. ARCH ARB

    ARB registered Israeli architect, graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture In London. During her studies she was nominated for the Royal Institute of British Architects president medal. After graduating Tamar she worked for Zaha Hadid Architects before founding the practice, and was part of a teaching team at the AA. She is a visiting critic in various architecture schools in London and Israel.

  • Oshri Yaniv | AA DIP. ARCH ARB

    Oshri Yaniv AA DIP. ARCH ARB

    ARB registered and licensed Israeli architect. He studied art history and stage design at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem before graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London where he received a 5 year scholarship of excellence Oshri worked for David Chipperfield Architects and for Wilkinson Eyre Architects before founding the practice.
